See you At the Pole 2006'

Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. KJV
See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student organized, and student-led event. That means this is all about students meeting at their school flagpole to pray—for their school, friends teachers, government, and their nation. See You at the Pole™ is not a demonstration, political rally, nor a stand for or against anything. See You at the Pole™ is scheduled annually on the fourth Wednesday in September, which is September 27 in 2006. The suggested starting time is 7 a.m. If that doesn't work for your school, choose a time that will work for your school, but let everyone at your school know!

Need more of hollywood to be saved!

This was good to hear, actor Stephen Baldwin is in the news and is now an in your face "Jesus Freak" All I have to say is Amen, and I'm happy to hear that God is working on the hearts of actors in hollywood like this!!!!
The youngest of the famed brothers Baldwin, actor Stephen Baldwin is an in-your-face Jesus-freak who has taken his share of blows professionally, financially and personally since professing his faith about five years ago. Since then, he has gone to bat for President George W. Bush (an overtly radical move in liberal Hollywood), launched two youth ministries (Livin It and Breakthrough Ministry), written several books and shared his faith with his celebrity brothers and even Tom Cruise. Why did he risk fame and fortune for faith? He says it’s simple—really!

Goal!!!!

We rented this and watched this last night! Wow, is what we have to say. What an incredible story and it's just the beginning! Goal 2: Living the dream is in theaters soon, and Goal 3 will not be long after! This story follows Santiago Munz's life from a young boy to getting to a pro team in England! He goes through quite the journey to make it, over coming obstacle after obstacle to just get a chance for someone to see something in him! He had many chances to quit and give up, but his belief in himself came out in others when he needed to be picked up again. I felt inspired by his story, because of my dream for our family and Primerica. I just need to keep going and soon I’ll break through my walls of doubt and score the winning GOAL!!!!!

Long weekend of fun!!!

Saturday we went to a new park in West Sacramento, "Bridgeway Lakes", about 30-40 minutes from the house. That have a water park there instead of the typical swing sets and slides. The kids had a blast and we could have stayed longer, but we only brought enough food for lunch, not dinner. Check out the pics on our flickr site, we would have had more pics but the batteries went dead in our camera!
Sunday we had church and did somethings around the house, chillin out! Monday we had our Annual Church Fish Fry at our church and we got in a long game of flag football with about 10 of our church men and teens and 10 of our church young kids all mixed in. It first looked like a blow out with the red team (Anthony's team, I was on the blue) ahead 2 TDs-0, but we started to get in our grove as a team and tied it up 3-3 with me actually constructing some key drives that ended up in scores. Another teen and I were switching on and off on QB/WR. We connected for a big pass when he was QB on a one of our first drive. Red team left me uncovered and we made them pay for it! But, I didn't see any action as WR after that, they covered me for the rest of the game, plus towards the end I was QB more since I was able to get us down the field a little easier! I just spread the ball around and even ran for some yards to get away from the rush!!! We ended up losing the game 4-3, but we didn't let up with out a fight. All the guys & girls played well and no one got hurt, a couple bumps, but nothing more then that! Praise GOD for a good weekend and fellowship!!

Take the Lead

We rented this over the long weekend and I much say that it was better then I expected! It had some real good teachings in it and you really don't need to be concerned with the language. I don't think there was any really foul words used at all. Which is amazing considering it is a true story from the New York area! I feel it would be real good film if you like positive inspirational stories, with good morals as a focus. We all enjoyed it. Now a days Tina and I are screening the movies before we watch them with the kids. So we saw this one twice and enjoyed watching the kids get something out of it!!!
