The Greatest Game Ever Played

This movie is great! We got this for ourselves for Easter and watched it last night. A great story about never giving up on your dreams and simply playing a sport because you love it! We didn't know how much of an important movie this was until the end! We check out some of the bonus features and found out that Francis Ouimet basically single handedly changed the sport to where the amateur player could play and be respected, instead of just the upper class! Also learned about Harry Vardon, a international golf celebrity, and easily one of the game's most influential players. His record of 6 British Open Championships still stand today!!!
If you like true, positive stories and if you like golf, this movie is for you. We are glad we added it to our collection and will bring it out if anyone in PA would like to see it with us while we are visiting!!!!
